Introduction
Make your own Pokémon game in the browser, then share it with friends.
DreamMist lets you make a small Pokémon game without writing code. You paint a town with the real Generation 3 Hoenn tileset, fill it with people, trainers and wild Pokémon, write a story that opens the map step by step, and add houses, Pokémon Centers and gyms you can walk into. Then you press Play and it works like the original games: walking, talking, battles, catching, badges.
When it's ready, publish it. Friends can play it from a link, like it on Explore, or fork it to build their own version on top.
What you can make
- A starter town: a few houses, a Professor who hands out a Pokémon, a route full of tall grass.
- A gym town: trainers to beat on the way, a Gym Leader with a team, a badge, and a road that only opens once you have it.
- A small adventure: several story steps, people who show up later, a rival, blocked paths, rewards and interiors.
- A remix: open one of the 60 real Hoenn towns and routes and change it, or fork a friend's city.
Try it in five minutes
Open the editor
Press Start building. A starter town opens with trees, paths, a Pokémon Center, the player's house, the Professor's Lab and some tall grass. It saves on its own.
Place something
In the side panel pick a stamp like House or Tree and click on the map. Drag with two fingers or right-drag to move around, pinch or Ctrl+scroll to zoom.
Play it
Press Play in the top bar. The Professor welcomes you: pick a boy or a girl and a name, and get your first Pokémon (from his bag, or from the Professor in the game's lab). Walk with W A S D and step into the tall grass to meet wild Pokémon.
Go back to building
Press Build to keep editing. Switching between Build and Play is instant, so test as often as you like.
