Share, publish and fork

Links, the Explore gallery and building on other people's cities.

Press Share in the top bar. You get two links:

LinkWhat it does
Visit linkFriends play the city: walk around, battle your trainers and catch Pokémon.
Remix linkOpens a copy of the city in the editor, for friends to build on.

If the city is saved in your account, the links are short and always show your latest version. Otherwise the whole city is packed inside the link. Long links can get cut by some chat apps, so save the city online first.

Set Made by to the name you want shown as the author.

Publish to Explore

When your game is ready, press Publish in the top bar.

  1. Write a description that says what's in it.
  2. Check the list: people to talk to, wild Pokémon, trainers, a story and interiors. It's a guide, you can publish anytime.
  3. Press Publish.

Your city appears on Explore with a picture of the outside map. Press Publish again later to update it, or Unpublish to remove it. Share links keep working after unpublishing.

Explore

On Explore, anyone can:

  • Play a city in their browser, with their own trainer.
  • Like it. Cities are sorted by newest or most liked.
  • Fork it to get their own copy to build on.

Fork

Forking copies the city into your account. The fork shows Forked from with a link to the original, and counts towards the original's forks. Everything is copied: maps, interiors, people, story, tilesets and music.

To fork a city you're playing, press Fork in the top bar.

Credit

When you fork or remix, the original author stays credited. If you used art or music from someone else, mention them in your description.
